Sara & Utkan’s Black Tie Wandsworth Town Hall Wedding

A Stylish and Intimate Celebration

Sara and Utkan, two incredibly talented architects, tied the knot in an elegant and deeply personal ceremony. Their Black Tie wedding was at Wandsworth Town Hall. I couldn’t think of a better and more beautiful venue for these wonderful people. Their day was all about love, connection, and celebrating their journey together in a way that felt true to them.

Their ceremony was a beautiful mix of English and Turkish readings, honouring their cultures and the life they’ve built together. Even without understanding every word, you could feel the emotion behind them. Their vows were heartfelt and full of meaning, a true reflection of their bond.

A Stunning Backdrop for Their Love Story

Wandsworth Town Hall, with its striking architecture and timeless charm, made for the perfect setting. After the ceremony, we took a stroll around the town hall to capture some gorgeous portraits of the newlyweds, their absolute joy was just contagious! Their guests were waiting outside, ready to shower them in confetti. After hugs and kisses, they shared some bubbly with their guests.

Sara and Utkan kept their wedding intimate, celebrating with only their nearest and dearest before heading off to continue the festivities that evening. Their day was proof that a wedding doesn’t have to be big to be meaningful—sometimes, keeping it small makes it all the more special.

The Beauty of Intimate London Weddings

There’s something so magical about micro weddings like Sara & Utkan’s—stripped back, deeply personal, and completely focused on what matters most. If you’re planning your own London town hall wedding, Wandsworth or otherwise, and want it captured in a way that reflects all the love and emotion of the day, we would love to be there for it.

When I started chatting to Cayley and Carl, they told me having a friends wedding was super important to them. At a time when Covid was just starting to bugger off. Having friends around them was a priority though potentially tricky. They decided on having a first look at Wandsworth Common before their town hall wedding at Wandsworth Town Hall. But with a twist! All their friends came with to witness this super special moment before all venturing up to the Town Hall together. Cayley and Carl are one of those couples that just really freaking LOVE hanging out together and you can see how into each other they are from how much fun they have together – they are constantly laughing and just really relish being in each other’s company. They had an awesome Town Hall wedding with their besties before heading off for a week long break with all their favourite people in the Cotswolds. If that isn’t the wedding perfection of doing things your way, I don’t know what is x

Jade and Paul were meant to have a big, beautiful wedding surrounded by friends and family. COVID had other plans. Despite their original plans not quite working out, they managed to have the most beautiful ceremony. Theirs was our first wedding of 2021 so I am not sure if thats why I was extra emotional. Watching them interact with their loved ones after their ceremony on Zoom just absolutely left me in a puddle of emotions.

But back to the good stuff! Jade and Paul got married at Wandsworth Town Hall with just her cousin Jane as witness. From the moment we met them at the Town Hall for their wedding they exuded the most beautiful energy! It radiated from them for the entire time we hung out with them. From their big smiles and happiness you would never have been able to tell this was anything other than their perfect wedding. Thank you also to the wonderful pub The Alma, who when they saw them just married babes, brought them out some complimentary champers to congratulate them! Guys, we cannot thank you enough for letting us share this day with you! Being witness to your marriage (in more than one way!), was such a delight and honour x
