Sara and Utkan, two incredibly talented architects, tied the knot in an elegant and deeply personal ceremony. Their Black Tie wedding was at Wandsworth Town Hall. I couldn’t think of a better and more beautiful venue for these wonderful people. Their day was all about love, connection, and celebrating their journey together in a way that felt true to them.
Their ceremony was a beautiful mix of English and Turkish readings, honouring their cultures and the life they’ve built together. Even without understanding every word, you could feel the emotion behind them. Their vows were heartfelt and full of meaning, a true reflection of their bond.
Wandsworth Town Hall, with its striking architecture and timeless charm, made for the perfect setting. After the ceremony, we took a stroll around the town hall to capture some gorgeous portraits of the newlyweds, their absolute joy was just contagious! Their guests were waiting outside, ready to shower them in confetti. After hugs and kisses, they shared some bubbly with their guests.
Sara and Utkan kept their wedding intimate, celebrating with only their nearest and dearest before heading off to continue the festivities that evening. Their day was proof that a wedding doesn’t have to be big to be meaningful—sometimes, keeping it small makes it all the more special.
There’s something so magical about micro weddings like Sara & Utkan’s—stripped back, deeply personal, and completely focused on what matters most. If you’re planning your own London town hall wedding, Wandsworth or otherwise, and want it captured in a way that reflects all the love and emotion of the day, we would love to be there for it.
