These babes wedding was one of those weddings that was just perfect in so many ways. When we met and had some drinks a few months back for their pre-wedding shoot, so I knew their wedding day was going to be absolutely amazing. Nestled in the heart of Hackney, their wedding was at MC Motors in Dalston. It was a fusion of indie charm and vintage elegance that will be super inspiring for any couples seeking a wedding as unique as their love.
MC Motors remains one of the most exceptional spaces for a wedding in Hackney! Tucked away in the heart of Dalston, so the venue is more than just a space—it’s a haven for creatives. It’s a sanctuary where wedding dreams take on a life of their own. As photographers, we couldn’t have asked for a more inspiring backdrop to capture the unique essence of Sam and Paul’s love story, and getting to do portraits of Sam in the same room Amy Winehouse’s last portraits were taken was quite surreal and incredible.
Sam and Paul filled their wedding with love, creativity, and teamwork. From the very beginning, these two awesome humans embarked on a DIY journey that led to the creation of their perfect wedding. With the invaluable help of their nearest and dearest, they created a wedding that was an honest reflection of their personalities. From handcrafted center pieces that echoed their indie aesthetic to Sam, mid wedding disappearing to prepare the food platters of all their favourite foods. Every detail was thoughtfully considered and lovingly assembled. Bearing witness to this collaborative energy was an absolute delight. Paul’s dear friend traveled all the way from Hawaii, to officiate their wedding. Dressed in a Vegas-style priest attire, he brought a sense of fun and personality to the ceremony. Everything was unique and personal, and when everyone spontaneously broke out into song during the cake cutting, the love in the air was tangibleTeam : Venue: MC Motors Cake: LilyVanilli Dress: COAST Headdress: Hannahs Home Interiors Catering: Terry at Highbury Kitchen DJ: Wedding Smashers
Alice and Joe got married in the gorgeous village of Keyham where her folks live. They had a gorgeous boho Garden wedding, with so much colour everywhere and just the most beautiful boho festival marquee
The ceremony took place in the local, beautiful church. They had a reading from Terry Pratchett, which is always a win in our books. After the ceremony, they had a confetti aisle, while people from the village cheered them on from the road, which was so heartwarming. The weather at this a gorgeous boho Garden wedding was fresh and sunny, it was a beautiful day and could not have been more perfect.
The reception was held in a good family friend’s garden across the village. Their garden was the perfect spot for a relaxed afternoon reception, and it had the most lovely vibe. We were treated to the most yummy sunset light which we used as an excuse to slip away from the reception to get some magical golden light couple pictures. Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your absolutely perfect day guys xx
Thank you to my babe Leesha Williams for shooting with me x

Lauren and Neil got married in what has to be our new favourite wedding trend. An intimate ceremony and lunch, followed by a big party later on. They had their ceremony at a family church, and then had the most gorgeous lunch at the Michelin Star rated Paris House with their closest people. They later had a big party at their local The White Hart.
The ceremony took place in a beautiful church, and was officiated by a dear family member, which was so lovely and personal. After the ceremony, we all travelled across to the gorgeous Paris House, which is the most exquisite house in the Deer Park, where they celebrated their marriage with a tasting menu. I got some beautiful photos as they enjoyed the afternoon. The weather at this vintage wedding was chilly and rainy, but that didn’t bother them at all.
One wedding celebration is never enough and their intimate wedding lunch was followed up with a fun, bigger celebration with all their friends at their local. We absolutely love that more couples are pairing an intimate wedding celebration with a bigger party. It’s hands down the best way to get the best of both kinds of weddings!

I know I say this a lot… But we are honestly so lucky to shoot the amazing couples that we do. Sophie and Ste are no exception to this. In fact, I would maybe say that it would be nearly impossible to find kinder, more lovely, or more in love people than these two. I am going to try my best to not turn this post into me gushing about how amazing the two of them are, but I can’t make any promises! I mean to start, Sophie’s pink vintage wedding dress had me utterly weak at the knees!
Sophie and Ste are in the business of love and weddings too so from day one of chatting with them we knew their wedding would be the most magical reflection of them. It was all these things and more! Sophie and Ste have a beautiful love for their family and chosen family of friends – the depth of love around every corner was an absolute joy to witness. These babes were honestly one in a million and we were so honoured we got to share their day with them! And while a nasty bug on the day may have altered a lot of their plans – their grace and love could overcome everything.
