Previously KNOT JUST PICS. Same shit, different name.

Kaylee and Scott got married on the best day of the year to get married, so when we initially got their enquiry, and saw that it was for this date, we knew they had to be pretty special people – and they really are the two biggest hearted people. They got married on the island of Rhodes (where Scott’s family can trace some ancestry which is pretty damn cool). They chose the beautiful, family run Ktima Lindos , which overlooks the the Mediterranean Sea, this stretch of which has to be some of the bluest we have ever seen for both their ceremony and reception. The wonderful thing we always find about destination weddings is how everyone gets so involved, and how as everyone has travelled there specifically for this adventure, there is always the most incredible energy in the air. We got to spend a couple days getting to know all their amazing friends and family, so by the time it got to wedding time, it felt like getting to share the day with a wonderful group of friends. Kaylee’s mom did all the flowers for the wedding, and they were just absolutely breathtaking. Everything about their day was just utterly perfect, from their sun drenched ceremony to their perfect fairy-light lit reception. Guys, it really is such an honour to share a wedding anniversary date with the two of you beautiful humans <3

  • Sticking with our theme of amazing light we miss shooting in...
  • It Saturday which means we should be out taking photos and documenting memories. We aren’t, obvs, so here’s just a pic of some pretty light and some lovely in love babes. Happy weekend! If weekends are even still a thing 😂
  • Man I love the getting ready part of weddings! All the nerves, the excitement, joy and anticipation. I always find it’s quite a surreal time for most brides as it’s often when it finally hits them that they are getting married!
  • Really missing getting to shoot in some hard Summer light 😭
  • Anyone missing normal Monday’s yet or is everyone still all about the couch life?
  • I’m sorry but could these babes be any cooler?! 😱💀
  • If you’re pouring bubbly into peoples mouths on the dancefloor you know it’s one hell of a wedding ☺️
  • So as promised, here are a couple pics from our own wedding! ( Part 1 ) We had been casually shooting weddings for two years by the time we got married, so had a pretty good idea about what was important to us.

We got married in Mozambique, a place very special to us as it’s where we went on our first holiday and kinda fell in love. We wanted a very chilled little holiday with our fave people where one of the days there happened to be a wedding.
We really wanted our wedding pics in the little town of Ponta D’Ouro about 45 minutes away on a beach sand road, but also really didn’t want to be away from our guests for super long.

We made the decision to do a “first look” the day before our wedding and did all our couple pics the day before our actual wedding so we could just chill and have fun on our wedding day. That way we could take a bit longer and get all the pics we wanted without sacrificing time with our favourite people. We had our parents there all dressed up as well as we wanted to include them. I think it’s because of this that we now love shooting first looks and also don’t like keeping our couples away from the action for hours, cuz we know first hand that weddings are about more than just some cool pictures - though obvs we love those too ☺️ Photos by the incredible @tyrone_bradley
  • Why I love that we get two angles of the same beautiful moments 😍
  • Some good mountain escapism coming soon ☺️
  • So it’s not secret that Jewish weddings have THE most amazing energy and vibe! The Horah has to be one of our fave parts of the day!
  • I love it when I can hear a photo. This one for me I can hear the hum of lots of conversations happening at the same time, loud cracking laughter to one side, some tinkling glasses on cutlery and the general buzz of excitement.

  • I’ve played guitar and bass for a while and always wanted to try sitar. Had my first lesson today in Varanasi. What an amazing instrument! So different to guitar. I was very shit and my fingers feel like they’ve been manicured with a sword, but I love this thing.
  • Following @the_szerd around temples since 2010.

Our first big overseas adventure was to Nepal, where we got engaged. The travel bug bit hard and it’s been love and magical unicorn farts ever since. Here’s to a trillion more adventures with this person ❤️
  • There’s something beautiful and timeless about a shawl or saree. The Indian woman are such a vibrant contrast to the dusty streets.
  • Up to our eyebrows with hot chai (tea) and hotter curry. #wishyouwerehere #notreally
  • Unbelievable detail carved into these old stone mansions (called “Havelis”) from the 1800s. The one took 55 years to finish! It may take us that long to finish painting our kitchen...
  • Epic views over the small desert city of Jaisalmer in North West India, not far from the Pakistan border.
First time in this beautiful country. Managed to step in cow shit within the first 2 minutes and dog shit within the first 10. Welcome to India!
  • This weekend exceeded all expectations! 🙌 Sooo many good bands, the friendliest people, and delicious veggie food. The mud and rain even made it a proper English festival experience 🌧 This was our first @downloadfest and we WILL be back! Thank you @the_szerd for enjoying the same noisy music as me and always being my band buddy 😘
  • This summer in Europe has been epic for bands so far! Another one from our “must-see” band list. Alice in Chains 🔥 Definite highlights were this song, Them Bones, and Nutshell, which Jerry Cantrell dedicated to Layne Stayley. Totes emosch 😥 @aliceinchains
  • I played bass for a long time and this man was my bass crush 😍 #justinchancellor was worth every second of the 20 year wait to watch this man play 🙌 ... and I got his plectrum ! That’s getting framed.
  • Tool 🙌 I waited 20 years to see this band and it finally happened last night in Berlin, of all places. They were a massive influence on my own band and were actually one of the reasons @the_szerd and I started dating over 15 years ago. I even played in a Tool tribute band back in the day. Excellent times!
  • People watching from the shade.
  • Exploring the narrow streets and alleyways of Stone Town, Zanzibar. This place reminds us so much of the old part of Jeddah with the African/Arab cross culture and architecture.
