Previously KNOT JUST PICS. Same shit, different name.

We first met the awesome Elaine and George when they were guests at another wedding we shot a year back and after spending ages that night chatting to Elaine, I was absolutely beyond delighted when her and George contacted us to shoot their multi-day music festival styled wedding – if you know anything about us, you know we LOVE music festivals. They had their WedFest at the epic Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat in the valleys of the New South Wales highlands and had their ceremony in one of the most beautiful cave cathedrals we have ever seen! After getting the marrying bit done, they had a silent disco, followed the next day by morning yoga, a pool party, a sundowner cocktail party and wrapped things up with a bonfire. After the ceremony, we were even treated to one crazy dust storm which turned the skies orange. Their next level awesome decor was done by the amazing Hoorah Events, who really made something beautifully unique and in line with Elaine’s vision for the day – also can we just talk about how incredibly damn stylish these two are?! And just in case you think their WedFest could not be any more brilliant, they had their two furkids, the incredible Eric and Lola with them the whole time! The even joined everyone for the ceremony and on the dancefloor. Elaine and George, you two absolute gems of humans, we cannot thank you enough for letting us be a part of your WedFest and just being so welcoming to us. We had the best time with you and all your special people x

  • It’s funny how so often wedding speeches are dreaded by both those who have to give them, and those that have to listen to them... but more often than not, they are heartfelt and beautiful. (And sometimes very rude and funny)
  • Rainy skies can also mean rainbows. Now if this isn’t a blessing on Katie and Colin’s wedding, I don’t know what is! 🌈
  • Breathtaking Katie 🔥
  • Wedding day part two for these gems today!
  • Blue skies when it was meant to pour with rain. These two have luck on their side 🙌🏽
  • Katie and Colin. Officially married 🙌🏽
  • Music is one of the most important things in both our lives. It’s has shaped us and supported us. This means whenever we get a chance, we go and watch bands live, as getting to see the songs that means so much to you played by the people who made them is just next level awesome. Last night we watched Biffy Clyro again, this band is particularly meaningful to us as a couple as our first dance at our wedding was to one of their songs 💜 Here’s both of us wearing Simon Neil masks leant to us by two lovely Glaswegian ladies we met at the show last night.
  • Getting ready. Letting it flow as it does without stage direction from us is so important. This way you have the moments you’re meant to with the people you love, without an outside coming in and taking over. At our wedding, I got ready with my favorite humans, and would have hated all of those beautiful, natural moments to be swept up and choreographed by a photographer - real moments matter 🙌🏽
  • New week vibe.
  • Kelly in the South of France.
Prepping to blog this gem of a wedding! Cannot wait to share their wedding which took place in a medieval village overlooking the French countryside.
  • Guests make a wedding.
  • It was so special to witness Lashara getting ready for her wedding with her dad. Watching him button up her dress and help her with her shoes. Such a special and private time - and I was lucky enough to be there for it 💜

  • This weekend exceeded all expectations! 🙌 Sooo many good bands, the friendliest people, and delicious veggie food. The mud and rain even made it a proper English festival experience 🌧 This was our first @downloadfest and we WILL be back! Thank you @the_szerd for enjoying the same noisy music as me and always being my band buddy 😘
  • This summer in Europe has been epic for bands so far! Another one from our “must-see” band list. Alice in Chains 🔥 Definite highlights were this song, Them Bones, and Nutshell, which Jerry Cantrell dedicated to Layne Stayley. Totes emosch 😥 @aliceinchains
  • I played bass for a long time and this man was my bass crush 😍 #justinchancellor was worth every second of the 20 year wait to watch this man play 🙌 ... and I got his plectrum ! That’s getting framed.
  • Tool 🙌 I waited 20 years to see this band and it finally happened last night in Berlin, of all places. They were a massive influence on my own band and were actually one of the reasons @the_szerd and I started dating over 15 years ago. I even played in a Tool tribute band back in the day. Excellent times!
  • People watching from the shade.
  • Exploring the narrow streets and alleyways of Stone Town, Zanzibar. This place reminds us so much of the old part of Jeddah with the African/Arab cross culture and architecture.
  • It may be “sun’s out, guns out”, but it’s “balls out” at sunset when the heat finally let’s up.
  • Excellent vibe on what’s left of the beach at high tide.
  • Ocean and people watching from a shadey spot. The guy on the right, dressed in tradition Masai garb, is David. We had along chat about tattoos before he sold me a bracelet.
  • Dear god it’s hot. But also quite nice.
  • Hello Zanzibar 🤗 Can’t wait to get in that water!
  • We’re a hazard when we’re walking the streets cus we’re always looking up and bumping into people. Obsessed with the beautiful Dutch architecture!
