Kaapschehoop is a picturesque ex-mining village in the Mpumalanga low veld. We were last here nine years ago for a friend’s wedding – before being involved in wedding work was even a glimmer of an idea. We remember this place fondly as an arty little village full of wild horses, ducks, chickens and magical mist. When we found ourselves with a morning to spare before our flight out of Nelspruit after a wedding, we jumped at the chance to go back to this gem. Exploring this beautiful little town was the perfect end to a crazy double wedding weekend for us. With blue skys and dramatic clouds for days, I really hope we get a chance to shoot a wedding here one day! (just putting it out to the universe…)

Wild horses!
Andy is hands down my favourite subject to photograph, so apologies in advance for all the pics of my amazing and dorky person.
