Candice and Byron got married on what I think has been the coldest day of the year BY FAR (we’re talking like a maximum of 5 degrees). We always find that at weddings that have the most adverse weather, they end up having the most energy and spirit, and their wedding was no exception to this. Just after the ceremony, the sun came out in all its winterey glory for about 5 minutes before disappearing behind dark and moody clouds which is where it stayed. Candice and Byron have a strong and beautiful love that we had already witnessed when we shot their couple shoot a few months back. They got married at the superb Netherwood which is always a joy to shoot at, and it was awesome to see how they transformed the venue to really reflect them as people.
During the reception, they auctioned off a t-shirt of Byron for 14k which went to his sister’s charity. How amazing!
