Local wedding guide • Camden Town Hall • Colourful, candid, queer-friendly Camden Town Hall wedding photography.
Tips, photo spots, accessibility info and real weddings.
If you’re planning a London Town Hall wedding, you’ll quickly spot lots of amazing options. Islington, Hackney, Marylebone… each has its own personality. But if you want a venue that’s inclusive, stylish and a little bit alternative, a Camden Town Hall wedding could be your perfect choice.
We’ve photographed many town-hall weddings across London, and after years as London wedding photographers, we find that Camden tends to attract a certain type of couples. Couples who are creative, arty and want a day that feels personal rather than cookie-cutter.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to shoot your wedding!

Camden Town Hall sits in a sweet spot between a number of phenomenal areas. All excellent choices for your wedding reception/after party if you’re after something that shouts arty/edgey/vibey London. Camden itself obviously (duh) but also cool as hell areas like Clerkenwell, Angel and Shoreditch are all a very short trip away by Black Cab, old Routemaster bus or even on the tube.
This queer friendly Town Hall caters for everything from an intimate 2 person elopement to a 100+ person celebration of your love. They have accessible toilets, lifts and hearing induction loops to ensure that you and your guests can have the full wedding experience. Their registrars are some of the loveliest out there. They go out of their way to make sure your wedding or civil union experience is beautifully you.

You’re literally across the road from St Pancras and Kings Cross station, which connects you very easily to pretty much everywhere. Even mainland Europe if you’re keen to sneak off post ceremony for a little European adventure. The Standard hotel which is directly next door is an absolute dream if you like things quirky and aesthetic. This brutalist babe features exquisite design and the room are the perfect backdrop for getting ready in – plus dogs stay free which is pretty awesome.
Chances are, if you’re getting married in London, you want photos that scream London. Within a short walk you can get dreamy canals, vibrant street art and decadent townhouses all within minutes of each other. So you can have variety in your pictures without having to venture out too far, or more importantly, for too long!

If you love places with historical weight, this is the spot for you. Camden Town Hall has loads of incredible history! The first Caribbean Carnival happened here (before the Notting Hill Carnival was created). And the building itself is a neo-Classical beauty. The grand marble staircase as you enter is the perfect spot for group shots and even a few couple pictures (and a GREAT rainy day backup). When you exit the building for a shower on confetti you will have the ridiculously pretty St Pancras Hotel in the background.
Ceremony room hire typically starts from around £250–£500 depending on the room and day. For the latest fees check Camden Council’s official page.
Rooms vary: intimate spaces for 2–12 people through to larger rooms that accommodate 100+ guests.
Nearby favourites include Regent’s Canal, Camden Market, Granary Square at King’s Cross, and the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel façade.
Yes! We’ve shot many queer marriages and civil partnerships here and always found staff to be inclusive and supportive.
We LOVE shooting weddings at Camden Town Hall for couples who want a wedding that’s in a great part of London and want a wedding that best reflects them as a couple!
